HIGH WATER FEST (SC)
Canceled for 2020 due to Coronavirus
This spring, Lowcountry culture meets a vibrant and diverse musical lineup at the waterfront just outside the historic beauty of Charleston, SC. High Water Festival, curated by the Holy City-based folk duo Shovels & Rope alongside Dogwood Artist Management and AC Entertainment, takes place at the Riverfront Park in North Charleston. The two-day, weekend event is widely popular with locals and tourist alike. The event brings together more than 20 musical acts across two stages; exclusive, Charleston chef-curated dining experiences; local craft beer, wine, and cocktail immersions; and more.
High Water 2019 took place April 13 - 14 . Headliners included Leon Bridges, The Head & The Heart, Lord Huron, and Shovels & Rope. Additional festival highlights included:
Pass The Peas - a southern cuisines and culture family-style dining experience curated by local acclaimed chefs;
Low Tide Social a kickoff event including music, low country boil, and specialty cocktails; and
Oyster Education Classes educating attendees on all the basics of oyster-farming, shucking and perfect way to eat the tasty costal favorite.
The Porch by Lagunitas Brewing Company, a go-to relax and cool off lounge.
Pepsi Recycling’s The Swap, a rewards exchange for doing good. Fans earn points to swap for prizes as they turning in their bottles for recycling instead of throwing them in the trash.
